After 1 1/2 hours of cooking, it is very critical to check the amount of liquid as often as possible so as not to burn the herbs.
  5. When ready, pour the liquid into a smaller pot. If it is more than 2 cups just by 3 or 4 oz, just cook a little longer in the small pot. However, if you get more than 3 or 4 cups, pour it back into the original pot and cook it down to 2 cups.
  6. Strain the liquid into glass jar or bottle using a funnel and a fine mesh strainer.
  7. You may cook the herbs second time the same way if instructed by the herbalist.
  • Drink 1 cup of the herbal tea, while it is warm, 2 hours after the last meal of the day. Drink the second cup of the herbal tea next day, however; you may be instructed to drink 2 cups a day depending on your conditions. Ask the herbalist how often you need to drink the herbal tea.
