Cold & Fever Remedy

Gum Wall Tea & Lok Wo Cha

  1. Pour 3 cups of water into a small sauce pan and bring it to a boil.
  2. Add 1 packet each of Gum Wall Tea & Lok Wo Cha.
  3. Cook for 10 -15 minutes on low to medium heat with a lid on. Herbs will most likely to stick to the side of the sauce pan. You will need to push the herbs back into the tea.
  4. Turn off the heat and let it steep for 5 mimnutes.
  5. Strain into 2 separate cups using fine mesh strainer.
  6. Drink one cup of tea warm before breakfast with 1 teaspoon of UPR & 3/4 teaspoon of D12. 
  7. Drink another cup of tea warm 2- 3 hours after dinner with 1 tea spoon of UPR and 3/4 teaspoon of D12.
  • If you are running a fever or nausea, add 1 thin slice of fresh ginger root to the remedy abovem at the beginning of the process.
  • If your tongue is coated white and your digestive system is very sluggish, Take 1/2 teaspoon of Taifu Plus 30 minutes after meal twice a day.

Things to Remember

  • Dress warm.
  • Do not take shower if you have fever. If you sweat while sleeping, dry your body with towel and change your clothes immediately.
  • Best to fast (up to one day) or eat as little as possible when you have a fever.
  • Rest well.
